The Por Larrañaga Galanes Cigar is the most recent addition to the range. The brand is one of the oldest brands, dating back to 1834. It once boasted a vast number of formats and packaging types. After the Cuban revolution, however, Por Larrañaga saw a steady decrease in production and variety until the recent addition of the Galanes, with a few more vitolas announced for 2023.
The factory name given to the Galanes is Robusto, although it features 52 ring gauge, slightly more generous than the classic 50 gauge robusto. The length of the Galanes is 120mm, providing an approximate smoking time of 45-60min at a leisurely pace.
